Generally speaking we all experience a certain element of fear or uneasiness when it comes to this subject of death and dying. And our mind is so used to denying such reality . . . The question is: is denial really the solution for our fear, or our suffering? Does denying t really help us overcome our suffering of death and dying?

From the Buddhist point of view, denial creates more suffering, more pain Denial is like that. You’re afraid of being hurt from this thing called death and dying. Because of that you tend to deny, and because you are denying and avoiding the subject, you put so much effort and waste so much time into denying this fear, which in itself a process of torturing yourself.
